TbLiF₄ (TLF) Crystal
TbLiF₄, also known as TLF, is a fluoride-based single crystal containing terbium, known for its magneto-optical properties. Its fluoride composition gives it a wide optical transparency range extending into the ultraviolet, distinguishing it from oxide-based magneto-optical crystals such as TGG and TSAG.
TbLiF₄ (TLF) crystals are used in magneto-optical applications such as Faraday rotators and isolators, particularly where UV transparency is required.
