Rhenium Sputtering Target
Rhenium (Re) is one of the densest and highest-melting refractory metals, prized for its exceptional strength and stability at elevated temperatures. These properties make rhenium sputtering targets ideal for applications requiring long-term performance under extreme thermal and mechanical stress.
Sputtered rhenium films are used for contact metallization in microelectronics, oxidation-resistant coatings in aerospace applications, and catalytic thin-film systems for petroleum reforming. Rhenium is also of interest for depositing high-temperature barrier layers and experimental superconducting thin films in research settings.
