Barium Stannate Sputtering Target
Barium stannate (BaSnO3) is a perovskite-structured wide-bandgap oxide semiconductor. When lanthanum-doped, sputtered BaSnO3 thin films can achieve substantial carrier densities together with electron mobility that is exceptionally high among transparent conducting oxides, an unusual combination that has attracted significant research interest.
Sputtered La-doped BaSnO3 thin films are studied as a high-mobility transparent conducting oxide, with potential to complement or replace indium tin oxide (ITO) in optoelectronic devices and transparent electronics. The material is also investigated as a high-mobility channel layer for oxide thin-film transistors and as an electron transport layer in perovskite and dye-sensitized solar cells.
