SD-900 Gold Sputter Coater for SEM
SD-900 is a gold sputter coater ideal for SEM sample preparation. It is widely used to coat non-conductive SEM samples with gold, silver or platinum for better imaging. It is also excellent for surface treatment. Its streamlined design minimizes costs while fully meeting coating needs. It can reach its working vacuum pressure just within 2 minutes with a proper vacuum pump. It generates much less heat and it’s easy to operate. The package includes a vacuum pump. Thickness monitor is available as an option.
Key Features
Cost-effective design: A streamlined design that keeps costs down while fully meeting SEM coating needs.
Au, Ag and Pt targets: Accepts Ø50 mm gold, silver or platinum targets.
Fast pump-down: Reaches working pressure within 2 minutes and the 2 Pa vacuum limit in under 5 minutes.
Low heat, air-cooled: Generates little heat during coating and uses simple air cooling.
Stable process control: Gas flow controller, chamber pressure and process current meters, and a coating timer.
Compact desktop unit: 360 × 300 × 380 mm with a scratch-resistant quartz glass chamber.
