ZnO monocrystal substrate
ZnO (Zinc Oxide) single crystals are wide bandgap semiconductor materials. Their bandgap and lattice constants are very similar to those of Gallium Nitride (GaN), making them promising for applications in LEDs and as epitaxial substrates for GaN growth. Additionally, ZnO is applied as a piezoelectric material in various sensor technologies.
