Cobalt-Chromium-Molybdenum Sputtering Target
Cobalt-chromium-molybdenum (CoCrMo) is a wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant alloy based on the same composition family used in ASTM F75 orthopedic implant alloys. Sputtered CoCrMo films replicate this combination of hardness, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility as a functional thin-film coating.
Sputtered CoCrMo films are used as biocompatible, wear- and corrosion-resistant coatings for medical implant surfaces, as well as protective thin films for industrial and optical components requiring both mechanical durability and chemical stability.
