
Strontium Molybdate Sputtering Target
Strontium molybdate (SrMoO4) belongs to the SrO-Fe3O4-MoO3 material system and can be converted to the related conducting perovskite phase SrMoO3 through redox annealing. Sputtered strontium molybdate films are used both as an insulating scheelite-phase material and as a source for producing conductive SrMoO3-based films with tunable optical properties.
Sputtered and reactively co-sputtered strontium molybdate thin films are studied for plasmonic and local-heating applications, exploiting the tunable optical and electrical properties of the SrMoO3/SrMoO4 system. Strontium molybdate has also been investigated as a highly conductive oxide electrode material for solid oxide fuel cells.
