Copper-Nickel-Manganese Sputtering Target

Copper-nickel-manganese (CuNiMn), widely known as Manganin, is a precision resistance alloy valued for its very low temperature coefficient of resistance and stable piezoresistive behaviour under mechanical strain. These properties have made sputtered Manganin thin films a long-established choice for high-pressure and shock-pressure sensing.

Sputtered CuNiMn (Manganin) thin films are used as the sensing element in piezoresistive pressure gauges for shock physics and detonation pressure measurement, including MEMS-based sensors for microscale applications, as well as in thin-film precision resistors and force sensors where stable resistance under strain and pressure is required.
