Strontium Aluminate Sputtering Target

Strontium aluminate (Sr3Al2O6) is a perovskite-structured oxide with high transparency and a relatively low refractive index across the ultraviolet-to-near-infrared range. Its particular ion arrangement also gives sputtered Sr3Al2O6 thin films ferroelectric behaviour, including self-polarization, within certain temperature ranges.

Sputtered Sr3Al2O6 thin films are used in optical coating applications such as windows, lenses, and sensors, where their high transparency and low refractive index are valuable.
