  • Calculation Method for Alloy Density in wt%
    1. Sum of wt%:
      Add the wt% of all selected elements to calculate the total wt%.
    2. Volume Contribution per wt%:
      For each element, divide its wt% by its density to determine the volume contribution per wt%. Then, sum up the volume contributions of all elements.
    3. Calculate Alloy Density:
      Use the formula:
      Density of Alloy = Total wt% ÷ Sum of (wt% ÷ Density)
  • Calculation Method for Alloy Density in at%
    1. Mass Contribution from at%:
      For each element, multiply its at% by its atomic mass. Then, sum up these values to calculate the total mass contribution.
    2. Volume Contribution per at%:
      For each element, multiply its at% by its atomic mass and divide the result by its density. Then, sum up these volume contributions.
    3. Calculate Alloy Density:
      Use the formula:
      Density of Alloy = Total Mass Contribution ÷ Sum of (at% × Atomic Mass ÷ Density)
